Only one player is individually identified in this series of postcards, though the identities of others have been discovered over the years. The 3-1/2" x 5-1/2" cards have colorized player and group photos on front with a title printed in white in the lower-left corner. Some photos were taken at the Reds ballpark, then known as the Palace of Fans. Cards include pictures of Reds and Pirates of the National League, and Toledo of the minors. Many of the players have bright red belts, thus the set’s nickname. Postcard backs have a credit line: “The Morgan Stationery Co., Cincinnati, O., Publishers.” The unnumbered cards are checklisted here alphabetically by title.
